Making IT accessible

My name is Piom Ghaffari. I currently live, bike, hike, and work in Bishop.

Having spent nearly a decade in various IT-focused roles after having been raised around computers since basically birth, I like to think I have a unique perspective on how technology has not only changed, but impacted our lives.

Whether from an operational standpoint or an administrative standpoint, I've done quite a bit. I have led efforts for sales teams that had to optimize their performance, personally bringing one involved with hotel reservations in Vail over a million dollars in bookings in seven months rather than the year they targeted. I have spearheaded projects for service teams that had to improve their delivery of experiences, bringing one in Mammoth Mountain multiple 5-star reviews in the span of a few months. I have helped with modernization programs for HR teams that were using a paper-based system, helping one in Mammoth Lakes adopt a regulatory-compliant electronic records system. If you have a problem, I'll find a way for technology to solve it!

Using my cross-functional background with my technical knowledge, I am applying my skills to bringing IT departments, and the teams they serve, into the modern era. Whether through utilizing paperless transformations or automating certain tasks, I help IT focus on the people who's problems they solve, and I enjoy it immensely!
